NetEnt Links Up with Buzz Bingo in the UK
Leading gaming development company NetEnt has announced that it is to take its entire online slot game collection live with the UK’s biggest bingo operator, Buzz Bingo.
Launch to Come After Successful Integration
While Buzz Bingo has already enjoyed a fantastic year owing in part to the two major lockdowns and tiered approach taken by the UK government owing to the coronavirus crisis, with many people forced to stay home, they are now linking up with one of the biggest online slot developers in the world.
Having overseen a successful integration period, NetEnt’s biggest and most famous titles, such as Gonzo’s Quest and Starburst, on which many have won huge progressive jackpots, will not be made available Buzz Bingo subscribers.
Those two major online slots will be joined in the portfolio on Buzz by a strong range of other top performing games in the UK market.
The new launch aims to solidify NetEnt’s current position as one of the UK market’s top developers. Their games feature on most online casino and bookmaker sites, including bet365 and Ladbrokes, and will allow Buzz Bingo’s players to continue to enjoy a more diverse range of products.
A New Type of Customer for NetEnt
NetEnt’s chief commercial officer Whitworth has aimed this link-up at offering his firm’s top games collection with a different customer base.
The game developer is already considered a top name in the UK market, but their online slot machine games are not currently well-known to regular bingo players. It is hoped that within months, the slots will perform every bit as well as Buzz Bingo’s current games.
NetEnt’s games content is considered to be first-class within the industry, and it is hoped it resonates well with Buzz’s current audience. This is more than likely, given that the premise of playing games requiring no skill or technique but plenty of luck is common within both bingo and slots.
The move makes perfect sense to the point that many will wonder how it has taken this long. For many, many years now, land-based casinos, which are famous for slots, have also featured games such as bingo and keno.
Players and games seem easily interchangeable in this way, and so there seems no doubt at all that the link-up between Buzz Bingo and NetEnt will be a roaring success, and rather quickly too.
About Buzz Bingo and NetEnt
Buzz Bingo began as a chain of traditional bingo clubs in the UK, with 91 locations as of 2020. Many people will know the company as Gala Bingo, rebranded in 2018, with its online move having been incredibly successful owing to the expertise of its ownership, GVC Holdings.
GVC of course, is the owner of Ladbrokes and Coral bookmakers, two of the leading names in the UK for several decades, as long as such brands as Bwin, Sportingbet, Gamebookers, and VistaBet.
Development company NetEnt began life in 1996 and quickly gained traction in the slot machine games market. Headquartered in Stockholm, NetEnt now employs more than 700 people. The company mostly develops casino software and supplies its hugely-popular titles to several sportsbooks and online casinos in a host of international territories.
While many will not be happy at a perceived lack of competition in the wider online games market, this link-up is good for customers and is almost certain to be a success.
