Gambling Industry to Hold Virtual Conference
The MARE BALTICUM Gaming Summit has now been turned into a hybrid conference, with registrations now open for the very first virtual conference hosted within the gambling industry.
Although a real version may be held in Tallinn, Estonia later in the year, the virtual edition of the conference is set for May 7 featuring a gathering of some 300 industry professionals.
The online conference will allow delegates to network around virtual tables, or conduct one on one meetings with prospective clients and partners.
What’s on the Agenda?
Due to the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic, Deal Room Events are adapting to the situation and the continued need for quality learning and networking within the gambling industry. Deal Room Events are helping with the transition to an online platform for the conference and the agenda has now been set:
- The restarting of the Sports Betting Industry post-COVID-19
- Sports Betting during the pandemic
- Alternatives to classic sports betting (virtual sports betting currently flourishing)
- Social Gaming taking its audience by storm
- The delivery of quality customer service during the crisis
- How are affiliates surviving during this period?
- Is the online casino industry benefitting during the disruption of live sports?
- The payments industry during the pandemic
- Will advertising bans carry on during COVID-19 crisis?
Further topics may well be added to the agenda as demand from the industry for participation grows and suggestions are welcome.

Sponsors and Partners
The change to a virtual conference has seen MARE BALTICUM garner even more support than normal with sponsors now including Altenar, Bankera, Golden Race, Nordic Gambling, NSoft, PLANZER LAW, SBTech, Singular, Tom Horn Gaming and others.
The impressive list is also complimented by a number of other supporters including CalvinaAyre.com, Focus Gaming News, Gioco News, iGaming Business, Online Casino Reports, Slotegrator and many more.
The betting world generally may never quite be the same after the full effects of the coronavirus pandemic are known, and eventually dealt with.
More customers have been turned onto virtual sports betting and casino games, while others have simply stopped their betting activities altogether.
If this virtual conference is a success and cuts down travelling and cost at a time when, even before the COVID-19 crisis the focus was on combatting global warming, we may well see more get-togethers within the industry conducted in this way.
